Meet Abigail

Abigail is a graduate student at the Erikson Institute working toward her Master’s degree in Social Work. She is completing her clinical internship placement at Three Trees Counseling. Abigail uses a multi-faceted and strengths-based approach to counseling, including CBT & DBT informed practice with an emphasis on Attachment Theory, Family Systems Theory, and family relationship dynamics. Abigail has specialized experience working with families and parents of young children, focusing on early relational health and attachment. She brings a passion for working with diverse populations, including individual adults, couples, parents, whole families, and adolescents. Abigail offers support in challenging parent-child relationships and attachment, marriage and family struggles, postpartum depression and anxiety, difficult life change and transition, and processing complex trauma. 


Abigail values creating a collaborative therapeutic alliance and works to foster a nonjudgmental and trusting space for clients to feel seen, valued, and accepted for who they are. 


Outside of work, Abigail enjoys spending time with her husband, dogs, and extended family. She loves traveling and anything outdoors - pool or beach time, hiking, picnics, and sight seeing.
